In 1843, after a near-disastrous fire inflamed a dozen homes and the county courthouse, a group of business leaders responded by forming Frederick’s first insurance company–for the protection and prosperity of the community. For the first time, local citizens could affordably insure their homes and businesses from fire and other threats.
Now, 177 years later, we continue to serve the insurance needs of our community as well as Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. We extend our thanks to our original Frederick County customers and all those who have followed for the privilege of safeguarding the things you hold most dear.
